Discover the art of printmaking in this creative STEAM activity! Kids will design their own images by pressing patterns and drawings into soft styrofoam blocks, then add ink or paint to create unique prints on paper. Each press reveals a bold and exciting design!
This hands-on project combines art, design, and creativity, showing how artists use simple materials to make repeated patterns and prints. All supplies will be provided—come ready to design, press, and print your own masterpiece! 🖌️📄
STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math
In this Program we will utilize learning that mixes these subjects together to help students be creative, solve problems, and think in new ways. In STEAM, you get to explore how things work, design and build, use your imagination, and find smart solutions—just like people do in the real world.
On the second and fourth Monday of each month, we’ll get our creative juices flowing with activities that spark problem-solving and imagination. Parents are encouraged to join in and support their children during these fun and engaging events.
