Discover the power of the sun in this fun STEAM challenge! Kids will design and build their own solar oven using simple materials to capture sunlight and create heat. Through this hands-on activity, participants will learn about solar energy, heat transfer, and engineering design while experimenting to see how the sun can cook or warm treats.
All supplies will be provided—come ready to build, experiment, and harness the energy of the sun! ☀️🔬
STEAM – Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math
In this Program we will utilize learning that mixes these subjects together to help students be creative, solve problems, and think in new ways. In STEAM, you get to explore how things work, design and build, use your imagination, and find smart solutions—just like people do in the real world.
On the second and fourth Monday of each month, we’ll get our creative juices flowing with activities that spark problem-solving and imagination. Parents are encouraged to join in and support their children during these fun and engaging events.
