Osage Beach Library invites all ages to discover the satisfying craft of weaving by creating your own personalized bookmark. You'll learn the fundamental techniques of weaving on a miniature loom, constructed from cardboard. Guided by instructors, you'll explore the process of setting up your loom, selecting and working with different colors and textures of yarn, and executing the basic over-and-under weaving pattern. By the end, you'll have a unique, handwoven bookmark that not only marks your page but also represents a newfound skill and a rewarding creative experience. Keep it as a keepsake or give it as a gift! Lets have some fun and be creative!!!
