Mason Jar Candle Holder Workshop: Bring Your Own Jar

Bring your own clean, empty jar and transform it into a beautiful, personalized candle holder in this fun and creative workshop. The library will provide all the decorations and supplies, including Mod Podge, tissue paper, Epsom salt, glitter, ribbon, and other fun embellishments. This is a great way to use a treasured jar and a perfect opportunity to make a unique gift or new addition to your home decor.

What to bring

  • A clean, empty mason jar: Any size will work. Feel free to bring a regular or a wide-mouth jar.

What we provide

  • Decorations: We'll have everything you need to make your candle holder shine, such as:
    • Glitter and Epsom salt for a sparkling or snowy effect.
    • Colorful tissue paper for a stained-glass look.
    • Ribbon, twine, or raffia for decoration.
  • Craft supplies: We will provide all the necessary tools and materials, including:
    • Mod Podge and paintbrushes.
    • Hot glue guns and glue sticks.
    • Scissors.

What you will learn

  • How to use decoupage techniques to adhere materials to glass.
  • Tips for creating a unique, rustic, or modern aesthetic.
