Program Description

Event Details

A total solar eclipse will take place at the Moon's ascending node on Monday, April 8, 2024, visible across North America and dubbed the Great North American Eclipse. The duration of totality will be up to 4 minutes and 27 seconds.

Prepare and get some celebration ideas at the Stoutland Library on Saturday, April 6 at 10:30. Engage in projects, crafts, books, and discussions about the Great North American Eclipse.

If you’ve never seen a total solar eclipse before, put it on your bucket list and mark the date. It is truly a breath-taking sight.

You won’t regret traveling to see the sun’s corona, while you stand in the shadow of the moon!
