Event Details
Friday, April 12th is Drop Everything and Read Day! This day is actually Beverly Cleary's birthday, and it has been set aside each year to celebrate Drop Everything and Read day! This event is referenced in the Ramona Quimby books, and it is usually for parents to set aside at least 30 minutes to read with their children! It is during National Library Week! Make sure you set aside time to come by the library! We will have treats and comfy places for everyone to read. We want to be the place you always come to read with your kids! Come and join us, as we drop everything and read! We will be having a story time for kids of all ages at 3:30 in the afternoon. Stop in after school! If you are adults, make sure you set aside some time to come, hang out, and read to your heart's desire! We will be here, and we will make sure to have some comfortable space for you! We will have a drawing at the end of the day for all who have participated throughout the day!
