Program Description

Event Details

Embark on a creative adventure with our "Woven Dino Creations" program, designed to introduce children to the exciting world of weaving while sparking their love for prehistoric creatures! Participants will use colorful yarn to create their own unique woven dinosaurs. This hands-on program encourages fine motor skill development, fosters patience and concentration, and nurtures imagination as they choose colors, textures, and patterns to bring their dino creations to life. Kids will learn basic weaving techniques, using simple cardboard looms, and can even experiment with creating different types of dinosaurs by adapting the shape of their loom. The finished woven dino can be a stand-alone masterpiece or become part of a larger prehistoric diorama created during the program. We'll celebrate their accomplishments and newfound skills in a fun and encouraging environment.
